The Logan Series book 2

Narrated by Leonor A Woodworth

Run time: 7 hrs and 12 min

Summary:

Logan wants to get stuff rolling for her school program. There’s a mystery happening around her.

Additional Comments:

  • Logan’s still a cool character.
  • She’s largely an observer this time around. I feel like book 1 in the series had a lot more action. Maybe it’s just tricky hindsight.
  • The cover does not make much sense with the rest of the story. It makes it look like a firefighter’s tale. (It makes a little more sense after reading the story.)
  • It’s mostly about a vet trying to get back on his feet and an immigrant family.
  • It touches on some important issues like homelessness among vets.
  • I thought it was interesting and entertaining.
  • They’re fluffy mystery-ish sorts of stories.
I read them out of order. There are things that tie in. It’s better to read in order if you can, but they’re also fine as standalones.
  • Got the audiobook code from author or narrator (somebody put it on a free audiobooks code site).

Conclusion:

Decent entry in an okay series.
