Additional Comments:
- This is the first story I’ve gotten from the Audible plus catalogue. I’m sure they put the firsts of many series on here in the hopes you’ll continue on. It might be working. Dunno. We’ll see how many credits I have at the end of year.
- Performance was excellent.
- Might be worth a second listen.
- I always do 2.3x speed because I’m usually reviewing for other people, not just listening because I want to.
- Main characters are many, varied, and true to my memories of the short-lived show.
- I like how the author worked in several of the characters, giving them sufficient page time.
- There was that sense of humor and wild west flair that the TV series had in spades.
- Excellent start to a series yet stands alone, much like the show.
- Would consider listening to this again, and that is definitely a rarity for me.
- The plot’s not all that magnificent, but you can still love and care about the characters.
Conclusion:
Has all the charms of the beloved TV show.
